Vieques Nudist Beach - 2.avi ARTS, SPORT, AND BUSINESS — On Tuesday, July 20, the Waller County Film Society and the McAllen Film Commission will be hosting a special screening of the classic 1967 James Bond film “You Only Live Twice” at the Lone Star College-McAllen Central Library. At 6:30 p.m., there will be a short presentation about the film, followed by the showing. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children/students, and $10 for a group of six. The festival celebrates American cinema, showcasing the best of indie and indie-blockbuster filmmakers. Nitsch will present a discussion and Q&A session at the Texas Theatre on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 each. The film explores how these families, even as they grow up with no idea of their history, are beginning to recover their American roots.
